What the site handles
Supabase handles sign-in. We save which scenario you used, whether the session completed, how long it lasted, its cost, and your skill results. We use this information to enforce free-session limits and show your history.
Your audio and transcript are sent to ElevenLabs and the AI model it uses. They use them to run the conversation and create feedback. Say It Ahead does not store raw audio or full transcripts in its own database.
Custom scenarios
Drafts and saved scenarios stay in this browser on this device. They are not saved in the Say It Ahead database.
When you share or open a scenario, its details are stored in the link. Anyone with that link can read them. Do not include private or identifying information.
Basic site measurement
We use a first-party cookie with a random ID to understand which public pages lead to practice. We may save the page path, a known scenario or situation ID, the referring website host name, approved campaign tags, and milestones such as a session starting or completing.
When you sign in, we link that random visitor ID to your account ID. This can connect public pages you viewed before signing in with later practice activity on your account.
The measurement records do not copy audio, transcripts, prompts, custom-scenario text, names, email addresses, or full URLs. We do not load a third-party analytics script.
Community funding
Buy Me a Coffee processes contributions. We save the transaction ID, amount, currency, refund status, and supporter email. USD contributions can add personal sessions to a matching account. We do not store card details, supporter messages, or payment-account credentials.
Important boundaries
Do not enter protected student records, medical information, legal matters, employee case files, passwords, or other confidential data. The site is not HIPAA, FERPA, or enterprise compliance ready.
Use fictional names or role labels. Include only the details needed to practice the conversation.
Your choices
You do not need an account until you are ready to use a free session. You can delete a personal synthetic voice from the Voice Studio. Account deletion and data-export controls are planned. Until then, contact the developer through Buy Me a Coffee for a manual request.
